I first arrived in Tokyo, Japan in 1996 from my home country of Lithuania. When I came I was so surprised that no one in Tokyo seemed to have high-quality Baltic amber jewelry. This surprised me because Japan is so famous for high quality products! I noticed so many woman looking at the unique Lithuanian amber jewelery I always wore. It was so different from the amber jewelry from Poland and Russia, that I saw here, in Japan. I soon realized that I should start my own amber jewelry business, and that’s just what I did. Although it was very difficult at first, AmberRuta, Inc. began to grow because of our many new designs and most importantly the high quality of our products and service that we always give to our customers. My family now operates the most modernized amber production facility in the entire country of Lithuania, and ever since my company’s conception in 1998, AmberRuta has become one of the most prestigious gem-quality amber importers in Japan. It was amazing how quickly news of our innovative designs spread throughout Japan and then to many other countries. My jewelry designs have been exhibited by world renowned fine-jewelry exhibitions in Shanghai, Taiwan, Las Vegas, New York, Seattle, New Orleans, San Franscisco, and Toronto. Recently, AmberRuta, Inc. was accepted into the world-renowned International Amber Association. By using cutting edge production technology, we have discovered new methods of working with amber to create unique pieces of exquisite jewelry that blend old Lithuanian traditions with modern technological procedures. In this way we can combine amber’s timeless appeal with today’s modern sophisticated fashions. I am extremely proud of my company because we always strive to provide our customers with only the highest quality and the most modern fashions and designs. I take pride in gauranteeing excellent service and attention to every detail.
